Got asked to do the layout for this CD by Guy from Black Market Activities back in 2007. I didn’t know the guys in the band at all, but after some email conversations and listening to the music they recorded for this, we pinned down what we wanted to do. I had a friend of mine, Jennifer Goldsmith, shoot some photos of the figure used (another friend) but heavily manipulated them for the design. I then made a bunch of watercolor splatters and scanned them in. It was a fun, splattery, agitated mess, but that was really what we were going for based on the spastic/rough edged hardcore and the lyrical concepts. We also produced a poster to be used for the tour cycle for the record and I pitched them some sticker ideas (which didn’t actually get made).
